Less than Truckload business transports loads less than a truck load but over 100lbs. Often, multiple loads are transported by one truck. It is the most cost efficient and environmental friendly transportation for freight.
Full Truckload (FTL) transports freight up to but not 45,000 lbs. Usually, FTF transports directly from shipper to receiver. FTF is the most secure option to ship freight.
Dry Vans transport most types of freight. Long, as well as, short and regional hauls are available with flexible schedules and routes.
Flatbeds require special loading and driving skills. They are able to transport oversized and specialty freight.
Reefers transport refrigerated freight. Additional temperature, pick-up, loading/unloading, and delivery constraints are enforced to meet product and customer requirements.
Tankers carry liquid bulk freight that require special driving skills and equipment. The tanker business line usually requires a hazmat endorsements and permits. Load/unload times are typically short. Short and local hauls are available. Due to safety and health risks tanker carriers are compensated higher.
Intermodal transportation involves two or more modes of transportation by airway, railway, waterway, or highway. Short and local hauls available.
